A week alone at the Zigbone Farm Retreat in rural Maryland he decided to focus on Distant Brothers, a story where Succession meets Bloodline.

While each of the stories is “finished” none have yet to find their literary home.

The Meeting Group is about a group of men from the same town who meet late one January at a local bar, an incident ties them together and they return monthly to share their lives.

A Man in the Middle of Time is about a middle aged business man who moves to London without his family to live a life without boundaries.  His only consistent contact at home is his Alzheimer's stricken mother and sharp-tongued secretary. 

Distant Brothers explores how a family broke apart and what two brothers discover when they find themselves on their terms.  The first chapter of this book won a short story award from Writer's Digest magazine.
